Welcome Dr Marie Bradley, our new Director

The staff and Board of the NZ Food Safety Science & Research Centre warmly welcome Marie, who starts today.  We look forward to working with you, Marie. 

Marie brings all the knowledge and experience she has gained over many years in various science roles, most recently at AgResearch. This will be invaluable to the Centre.  Mature judgement and appreciation of the different challenges and perspectives of industry and government are vital in this role.  In the end, we all want the same thing – to prevent foodborne illness and to back our food products with a gold standard reputation for food safety.

You will all have an opportunity to meet Marie soon as she travels around the country.  She says getting to know our partners and members is her priority.
