A high priority pathogen that concerns all sectors, the Centre is pursuing a strategic programme of work focused on Listeria.
EMERGING RISK IDENTIFICATION
In partnership with MPI and industry, the NZFSSRC is progressing a national Emerging Risk Identification System (ERIS) to identify key emerging food safety risks.

FOOD SAFE TEST KITS
To assist our partners in evaluating which test kits might be most suitable for their needs, the Centre manages a tool that can be used to decide which option is best for your company needs.
CHEMICAL CONTAMINANTS
An increasing concern, the Centre is providing support for rapid risk assessment of chemical contaminants that may arise from a variety of sources.
