THE SCIENCE

The NZFSSRC science programme has four streams:

Company-based projects to address specific current issues.
Industry sector-based programmes to address high priority national concerns.
Strategic cross-sector initiatives.
Iwi/Māori collaborative initiatives to help achieve key food safety aspirations.

The Centre has five major initiatives:

A high priority pathogen that concerns all sectors, the Centre is pursuing a strategic programme of work focused on Listeria.
