7 June 2023
Wednesday 7 June is World Food Safety Day, as decreed by the World Health Organisation and the Food and Agriculture Organisation. In New Zealand, it is a reminder of all the work that goes on behind the scenes to maintain the high level of trust in the food we produce.
Celebrate our outstanding food safety standards with the New Zealand Food Safety Science & Research Centre at our Annual Symposium in Dunedin on Monday 3 July.
This meeting is essential for anyone in industry involved in food safety. It’s a chance to learn about the latest technologies for fast pathogen diagnostics, and emerging risks and developments overseas that may affect our export markets.
Connect with the decision makers in government, and the top scientists in food safety.
In just ONE stimulating day, you can efficiently upskill, network, and enjoy a bit of time out from your day-to-day concerns. The programme is designed with industry in mind. Register for the Symposium here.
The symposium is directly connected to the NZ Institute for Food Science & Technology conference, which runs over the following two days (4 & 5 July), making time and travel costs efficient. Their delegates are joining us on the first morning for the welcome and plenary sessions. The conferences also happily coincide with the Dunedin International Festival of Science
