Asia Pacific Food Integrity Conference
To be held in Auckland on 28 and 29 June 2017, the 2017 Food Integrity Conference will focus on how to protect the integrity of NZ food exports to the rest of the world.
Organised by the Asia Pacific Centre for Food Integrity, the event follows the success of the inaugural conference held in July 2016 and has been developed for businesses that have an export focus or want to develop their export market.
“Export producers are facing an increasingly complex food chain,” said Helen Darling, director of the Asia Pacific Centre for Food Integrity. “They are judged on the quality of their food once it reaches the consumer, even though they don’t have total control over the supply chain. However, there are many ways exporters can mitigate risk, and this is what we will explore over two days.”
